Yeah, you shouldn't look here. I shall prepare you for one of my I'm-thinking-to-myself-yet-having-a-mini-rant kind of things that I do, if you'd like to stray away from good advice though: While it may be known to you that I don't come here often, rarely submit art, and always have nothing to show for myself, I hope you understand that I do get on to observe the wondrous art of others and, more often than not, I try to be out of their way but just as supportive.

Don't get me wrong, I try to draw--or write--when inspiration strikes me. But who has the attention span?! I suppose I'm the only one who doesn't, and while I love expressing myself in such a way, almost more than any other type of activity, it still does not seem to motivate me enough. I may have put myself in this situation with a mindset that I've embossed over the years: that I'm okay.. compared to other people. There are way better artists out there, and I've even set myself also to believe that everyone is and can be an artist.

Now, I'm hoping I don't feel masochistic. I don't even know what I ask for in such a rant. I'm sure I don't want pity--even if my self-esteem could use a boost--and I'm also not going to go anywhere progress-wise if I don't just set myself down with a pencil and paper and do something about it.

It's times like these where I feel I have to thank the dA community. Everyone--yes, everyone--has such awe-inspiring work that can most of the time compel me to call them my inspiration. It's appreciated that you can change my mood by a single [insert medium]-stroke, and hopefully this site will continue to be successful.
